Remote Software Architect

Description:

• The Software Architect will join the R&D department at interworks.cloud, focusing on building the cloud commerce platform using .NET 4.8, .NET 8, Vue 3, microservices, and Microsoft Azure.
• This role involves architectural design, technical leadership, and ensuring the scalability of software systems.
• The Software Architect will lead system design, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical requirements.
• Responsibilities include evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, providing technical guidance and mentorship, and creating architectural documentation.
• The role requires building prototypes and proof of concepts to validate architectural decisions.
• The Software Architect will identify and mitigate technical risks while balancing cost and performance.
• Collaboration with stakeholders, including business leaders and development teams, is essential to align architecture with business objectives.
• Mentorship of junior architects and Technical Leaders on best practices in software architecture is expected.
• Continuous improvement through staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or in a similar role, specifically in designing scalable software systems with a focus on .NET development.
• Proficiency in .NET development with C# is required.
• Experience in creating architectural diagrams, design patterns, and technical documentation is necessary.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to provide technical leadership and guide development teams through architectural decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to manage risk and cost-effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams are required.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is mandatory.
