Remote Software Architect (AWS, Javascript)

Requirements:

• Candidates must have proficiency in AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and AWS Cognito.
• A strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS), and familiarity with Kubernetes is required.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js for backend development is essential.
• Proficiency in React for frontend development is necessary.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, is required.
• Candidates should be adept at redesigning data models to enhance performance and optimize data retrieval efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with third-party integrations, such as Twilio, SendGrid, and payment gateways (e.g., Stripe), is needed.
• Familiarity with integrations involving services like Zendesk and DocuSign is preferred.
• Experience using WebSockets, Events, and Webhooks is required.
• The ability to create and maintain documentation, including architecture and system dependencies, is necessary.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead engineering teams and collaborate effectively with clients and external partners.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to communicate architectural changes and improvements to the CTO and stakeholders are essential.
• Experience with API management tools, particularly AWS API Gateway, is valued.
• Experience in No-SQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is valued.
• Knowledge of the digital marketing product vertical is a plus.
• An advanced level of English is required.
