The Software Architect will join SEON’s Architecture team and lead software engineering projects across the product development organization.
This is a remote role, ideally for candidates based in Europe.
Responsibilities include working out the technical scope of cross-team software projects, collaborating with development teams to design solutions, analyzing system performance, documenting design decisions, reviewing implementation plans, preparing deployment and migration plans, and managing project implementation.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of modern web development technologies, preferably Java with Spring, but also JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
Experience in measuring and improving the performance of distributed systems is required.
A strong understanding of web services and SaaS applications is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably Amazon Web Services.
Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, is required.
Familiarity with multiple database technologies such as ClickHouse, Neo4J, Redis, and Elasticsearch is needed.
Experience with modern DevOps tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and the ELK stack is essential.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are required.
Candidates must be able to work independently and prioritize their workload effectively.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are necessary.
