Description:

The Software Architect will provide high-level engineering support to the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).
Responsibilities include conducting analyses, trade-off studies, and system engineering planning.
The role involves assessing engineering documentation, ensuring compliance with software architecture standards, and participating in design, testing, and configuration management activities.
The Software Architect will support program development efforts by providing input on planning, integration, and acquisition activities while tracking milestones and ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Requirements:
An active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
A Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is necessary.
A total of 5 years of experience in developing software architecture artifacts for DoD systems is required.
Experience in the development of U.S. military ground vehicle systems is essential.
Experience in developing and documenting software architectures using Unified Modeling Language is also required.
