Description:

• Propio Language Services is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Software Architect to join their dynamic Translation technology products team.
• The Software Architect will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of software products and driving innovation.
• Responsibilities include evaluating business requirements and developing solutions in the form of products.
• The role involves designing application layers of software products, including features and functionality.
• The Software Architect will be in charge of high-level design choices, including coding standards, environments, tools, and platforms.
• The position requires understanding complex problems and finding possible solutions.
• The Software Architect will set product objectives and scope, develop work plans, and coordinate activities across multiple project workstreams.
• Assessing technical needs and capabilities during implementation is a key responsibility.
• The role includes researching and understanding new technologies and solutions, as well as providing recommendations and roadmaps for proposed solutions.
• Creating performance metrics for implemented solutions and communicating with clients and stakeholders is essential.
• The Software Architect will provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycles and lead complex software design and architecture.
• The position requires managing cross-functional projects, handling dependencies, and addressing bottlenecks.
• Collaboration with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and deliver software solutions is necessary.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in IT, computer science, software engineering, or equivalent is required.
• Candidates must be knowledgeable about all phases of the software development life cycle and solution delivery.
• Subject matter expertise in content and data management is necessary.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices is required.
• A proven track record of work experience as an architect, product manager, or lead developer is essential.
• Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Certificates demonstrating knowledge and competency are preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are required.
• A strategic vision and ability to plan for new features, extensions, and enhancements are necessary.
• Candidates should have a demonstrable appetite for taking on challenges and leveraging new technologies.
• Experience in various software designs, languages, and architecture is required.
• Strong solution definition and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Practical experience in project management is necessary.
• Familiarity with computer networks and IT security management is required.
• Experience and knowledge of cloud computing are preferred.
• A good understanding of business processes and strong analytical skills and techniques are necessary.
