Description:

  • Building, maintaining, scaling, and hardening AWS infrastructure to support current and future platform needs
  • Enhancing security posture of Loopio’s infrastructure to safeguard customer data
  • Collaborating with InfoSec, Architecture, and Engineering teams to determine optimal solutions for services on AWS platform
  • Automating manual tasks to enable team focus on security enhancements, technology evaluation, and feature launches
  • Participating in strategic decisions regarding platform and technology, cost-saving strategies, and process improvements
  • Engaging in project-based work like software upgrades, centralized logging, automated monitoring, and configuration management
  • Mentoring team members, offering technical guidance, and fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and feedback
  • Supporting Incident Response and participating in on-call rotations
  • Enhancing incident response and disaster recovery processes through failure scenario simulations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience as an infrastructure architect
  • Background in high growth agile software development environment
  • Emphasis on automation and reducing manual tasks
  • Leadership qualities within the team, demonstrating candor and curiosity
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Route 53, VPCs, etc)
  • Strong grasp of Immutable Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Datadog
  • Understanding of best practices for delivering cloud-based managed applications globally
  • Passion for continuous improvement and fostering a feedback-driven culture
