Description:

• 3Pillar is seeking a Software Architect with expertise in Java and Reactjs to join a remote team in India.
• The role involves steering projects that redefine urban living, establish new media channels for enterprise companies, and drive innovation in healthcare.
• The Architect will be the primary expert within the technology stack, owning high-level design choices and dictating technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Key responsibilities include acting as the technical owner from design to resolution of tailored solutions on cloud platforms, partnering with stakeholders to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements, assessing and planning for new technology insertion, managing risk identification and mitigation strategies, and contributing to code reviews and architectural artifacts.
• The Architect will also mentor engineers and support the growth of technical capabilities within the organization.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Software Architect with proficiency in specified technologies is necessary.
• High level of English proficiency is required to interact with a globally-based development team.
• The candidate must be able to communicate clearly with clients and articulate the details of the designed architecture using appropriate technical language.
• The ideal candidate should possess critical reasoning and good decision-making skills, along with a strong knowledge of SDLC processes and familiarity with actionable metrics and KPIs.
• Operational excellence in design methodologies and architectural patterns across multiple platforms is essential.
• The ability to work on multiple parallel projects while utilizing time management and multitasking skills is required.
• Experience leading Agile software development methodologies is necessary.
• High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate, along with experience in DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools, is expected.
• The candidate should demonstrate mentorship and thought leadership to engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.
