Description:

  • Veeva Systems is seeking a highly-skilled Software Architect for Java Applications to join their team in Pleasanton, California.
  • The role involves architecting efficient and reusable end-user systems that drive complex web applications.
  • The Software Architect will collaborate with the platform team to design, implement, and enhance components used across several application areas.
  • Responsibilities include defining a framework for sharing code and components between teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to peers, and designing pattern libraries and style guides that enforce best practices and coding standards.
  • The position requires leading regular code reviews to ensure code quality.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 10+ years of experience and expertise in one or more of the following: Java, Spring, Java EE, and Development.
  • Experience with cloud provider services and container technologies such as AWS, Docker, and Google App Engine is required.
  • Extensive experience working in enterprise software platforms is necessary.
  • Applicants should have experience building multi-tenant SaaS-based software and delivering complex event-driven architectures.
  • Expertise with Web Services and strong experience with a RESTful architecture are essential.
