Remote Software Architect - Managed SIEM (Ruby/Rails)

Description:

• The Software Architect will report to the Chief Technology Officer and work remotely in the US.
• The role involves helping the company achieve its growth and strategic goals by applying technical engineering and leadership skills to enhance development velocity while maintaining high standards.
• The architect will support the mission of building the Huntress Managed SIEM platform to improve security for small and medium-sized businesses.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with the CTO to define product technology direction, understanding customer needs, ensuring technology aligns with business objectives, designing solutions for key features, and assisting the engineering team with problem-solving related to performance and scalability.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 10+ years of experience designing and building Ruby on Rails applications at scale.
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience working with scaled relational databases within AWS is required.
• Candidates should have at least 5+ years of experience interfacing with product management and/or customers.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting engineering teams across multiple software stacks is necessary.
• Experience in designing systems for high-volume data ingest is also required.
