Remote Software Developer

Description:

• The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, and supporting the Billhighway suite of applications using C#, SQL, JavaScript, and other necessary languages.
• They will utilize issue tracking systems like Jira and source control like git to adhere to sound engineering principles.
• Ensuring the operational stability and resiliency of software applications pre- and post-deployment is a key aspect of the role.
• The developer will produce documentation on techniques used to address escalated issues and create guides to enhance future developer experience.
• Handling periodic on-call duty and out-of-band requests is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a software developer.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET framework, JavaScript, and SQL is required.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented software techniques and ER data modeling concepts is essential.
• Ability to resolve complex issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and document findings.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, is a must.
