Description:
Delaware Nation Industries/Indigenous Technologies is seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the Core Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) Program Management Office (PMO) within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ).
The DevOps Engineer will provide remote support to the Air Force’s Core Engine Maintenance System and will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline development, containerized deployments, automated testing, and sustainment of mission-critical Air Force systems.
The position is 100% remote and requires the ability to obtain a security clearance and a Security+ Certification.
Responsibilities include supporting CI/CD architecture, collaborating with Software Systems Engineers and Oracle database administrators, designing and maintaining Web Services API for CEMS applications, and enabling the CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline.
The engineer will implement automated static code analysis and security scans, develop automation scripts, support application deployments, and ensure high system functionality and availability.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or related role.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools and processes such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is necessary.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as serverless architectures, is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks is essential.
Candidates should have experience with automated code quality and security scanning tools like Fortify, SonarQube, or AppScan.
Knowledge of web services API design, implementation, and sustainment is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile development environment are necessary.
