Description:

  • Delaware Nation Industries/Indigenous Technologies is seeking a skilled Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to support the Core Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) Program Management Office (PMO) within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ).
  • The DevOps Engineer will provide remote support to the Air Force’s Core Engine Maintenance System and will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline development, containerized deployments, automated testing, and sustainment of mission-critical Air Force systems.
  • The position is 100% remote and requires the ability to obtain a security clearance and a Security+ Certification.
  • Responsibilities include supporting CI/CD architecture, collaborating with Software Systems Engineers and Oracle database administrators, designing and maintaining Web Services API for CEMS applications, and enabling the CI/CD DevSecOps pipeline.
  • The engineer will implement automated static code analysis and security scans, develop automation scripts, support application deployments, and ensure high system functionality and availability.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
  • Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or related role.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and processes such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is necessary.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as serverless architectures, is required.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience with automated code quality and security scanning tools like Fortify, SonarQube, or AppScan.
  • Knowledge of web services API design, implementation, and sustainment is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile development environment are necessary.
