Description:
As a Software Developer at Verlabs, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging mobile and web applications.
You will work closely with our product team and be involved in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
We are looking for a talented developer who is passionate about creating innovative solutions and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and testing software applications for mobile and web platforms, collaborating with the product team to understand requirements and provide technical solutions, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices, performing code reviews, participating in software architecture and design discussions, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
You must have 2+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java or Kotlin, is necessary.
You should have strong knowledge of the Spring Framework and relational databases, including SQL (MySQL, Postgres).
A solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and Restful API design is required.
You must understand software development principles and best practices.
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, is essential.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
You should possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
The ability to work independently and in a team is necessary.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies is important.
Experience with message queues and/or transaction logs such as Apache Kafka, Docker and similar container technologies, and the Apache Druid would be appreciated.
