Description:

We are seeking a EU-based remote AI Engineer to join our consulting team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include architecting and designing generative AI solutions to solve client needs.
The role involves developing proof-of-concept AI applications to demonstrate potential solutions.
You will optimize AI models for production environments, focusing on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Creating technical documentation and client-facing presentations on AI implementations is also part of the job.
You will integrate AI capabilities into existing client systems.
Staying informed about emerging AI technologies and assessing their potential for client applications is essential.
Contributing to the development of reusable AI components and internal tooling is expected.

Requirements:

Experience with generative AI and large language models is required.
A proven track record in building RAG systems is necessary.
A strong understanding of AI evaluation methods and metrics is essential.
Strong skills with Python, Node.js, and TypeScript are required.
Familiarity with React for frontend development is a bonus skill.
Experience in consulting or client-facing technical roles is considered a bonus.
Knowledge of DevOps, CICD, and Infrastructure-as-Cloud (Terraform, Bicep, Github Actions) is advantageous.
Working with Cloud platforms, especially Azure, but AWS/GCP also counts as a bonus.
A background in natural language processing (NLP) research or applications is a plus.

The position offers flexible, location-independent contract work with 20-40 hours per week.
A competitive hourly rate ranging from 45-110€/h, depending on experience, is provided.
