Remote Software Developer Backend - Upgrades / Labs

Description:

• The Backend Software Developer will be part of the Revenue team at TextNow, focusing on developing high-quality Golang microservices for client products.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions, working on new features and enhancements, participating in mobile application development projects, and assisting with debugging and issue resolution.
• The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the mission of democratizing phone service and improving user experience for millions of users.
• The position involves code reviews to ensure quality, adapting to changing priorities, and considering trade-offs in task approaches.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience with Golang and knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Experience in building high-performance, scalable applications.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, commitment to delivering high-quality software, and ability to write concise, performant, testable code.
• Basic understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
