As a Software Developer at Aretum, the individual will design, develop, test, and deploy secure and scalable software solutions in support of mission-critical systems for federal clients.
This is a pipeline role intended to collect applications for upcoming positions across multiple programs.
Responsibilities include designing and developing software systems using modern programming languages and frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing user stories and software features based on Agile development principles, maintaining and improving application performance, scalability, and security, participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities, and contributing to documentation and technical specifications as required by government contracts.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in software development using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or .NET.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git, is necessary.
Knowledge of database systems, including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle, is required.
Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
