Description:

• The position is for a Software Developer II, Full-Stack (Reactjs/Java) in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
• The role involves working in the Lightspeed Hospitality Team in EMEA on two large-scaled projects impacting customers worldwide.
• Responsibilities include developing clean and maintainable code, troubleshooting and debugging issues across the full stack, and advocating for high code quality.
• The developer will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, other Developers, and the Support team to provide tailored solutions for the market.
• The role also includes being part of the product evolution from a technical standpoint.

Requirements:

• Experience in developing and shipping production-grade SaaS-based software.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies like Javascript/Typescript, React/Angular, and backend technologies like Java.
• Ability to write automated unit and functional tests.
• Strong foundation in computer science and ownership for features and systems throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Analytical skills to analyze production environments, incidents, and performance characteristics for system improvements.
