Description:
The Software Developer II - ServiceNow will formulate and define the scope of ServiceNow Scoped Applications and objectives, utilizing an understanding of the software and application's programming and tools, such as App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.
This role involves providing recommendations for developing or modifying scoped applications, code, programs, or databases through research and fact-finding, ensuring that the delivered product meets user expectations while documenting software specifications and training other Developers.
The developer will be responsible for developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and Flow Designer.
Collaboration with stakeholders is essential to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
The position includes performing system administration tasks, such as user management, access control, and system configuration.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to ServiceNow applications and integrations is a key responsibility.
The developer is expected to stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Familiarity with Citizen/Delegated development on the ServiceNow Platform is also required.
Requirements:
Proficiency in App Engine Studio and Flow Designer is required for this position.
Familiarity with the Agile approach to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Azure DevOps is necessary.
Knowledge of business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripting, particularly in Java, is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
