Remote Software Developer in Test

Description:

• CoLab is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDT) to help maintain the best possible user experience as the company grows.
• The SDT will focus on automating repetitive testing activities to enhance UI/UX and overall product quality.
• Responsibilities include managing test automation, developing user story tests, implementing automated testing tools, and owning the entire release testing lifecycle.
• The role involves prioritizing testing tasks, coordinating code deployments, participating in audit reviews, and providing mentorship on Quality Assurance across the company.
• CoLab's product, the Design Engagement System (DES), is used by major engineering organizations to improve design conversations and reduce mistakes.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant experience in QA and UAT of web software applications.
• A strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and QA processes is required.
• Proficiency in test automation technologies and tools is essential.
• Candidates should have strong knowledge of Python and JavaScript development.
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD processes would be considered an asset.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience managing others are necessary.
• Familiarity with common web application security vulnerabilities and experience with application security testing would be considered an asset.
