Remote Software Developer in Test

Description:

• Develop a culture of quality by working closely with Agile production teams to create test plans and strategies tailored to each engagement.
• Prioritize and estimate work with designers and Product Owner to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery.
• Automate critical and repetitive test scenarios, overseeing their execution and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the team to triage and resolve bugs promptly, fostering a culture of quality within production teams.
• Provide test plans for clients to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Lead the development of the Quality Assurance practice area at Orium through process improvements and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies, exploring areas like Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing.

Requirements:

• Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and Software Engineering principles.
• 5+ years of industry experience in manual and automation testing.
• Expertise in functional, regression, cross-browser/device, exploratory, and REST/SOAP API testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or other test runners.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, testing frameworks like TestNG, Mocha, Chai, or Cucumber, and experience with TestRail, QAComplete, or similar test management tools.
