Description:

  • Warner Music Group is seeking a Software Developer in Test for the Engineering Productivity Team.
  • The role requires a strong background in software development and a keen interest in enhancing engineering productivity.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools, collaborating with Cloud Infrastructure teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, and implementing strategies for code quality and automated testing.
  • The position involves identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, creating documentation for tools and processes, and collaborating with key music industry stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Candidates must have 4+ years of test automation experience, with Python and TypeScript being a plus.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright and Selenium is preferred.
  • Familiarity with unit, integration, and performance testing tools is necessary.
  • Candidates should have experience in building test frameworks and tools, as well as CI/CD optimization or test automation framework development.
  • Experience with Bazel or other build tools and deploying in AWS is required.
  • The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and has a bias towards action.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are essential.
  • A passion for the music business and helping artists and songwriters grow is important.
