Spry Methods is seeking a Software Developer at both mid and senior levels to support a government customer.
The role involves joining Agile teams focused on enhancing the organization's Enterprise Services capabilities.
The teams will deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions that adapt to evolving business needs.
Responsibilities include understanding complex technical and organizational requirements and translating them into innovative solutions.
The position follows the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, ensuring a continuous delivery model that meets security, scalability, and reliability standards.
Developers will work collaboratively to drive strategic initiatives and adapt to shifts in organizational priorities.
Daily tasks include developing and modifying software applications, designing RESTful APIs, and maintaining XML schema standards.
Developers will utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, or equivalent for various tasks, including troubleshooting XML instances and data integration.
The role also involves cloud-based application development using AWS services and front-end development for user interfaces.
Developers will manage software development using Atlassian tools and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
Ongoing maintenance and support of applications, including performance monitoring and incident response, are also key responsibilities.

Requirements:

A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
For the Senior level, a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development is required, with a strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
For the Mid level, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development is required, with similar expertise in programming.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Golang is essential for both levels.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.
