Description:

  • As a mid-level .NET Software Engineer, you will work within a shared service full stack engineering team to assist with all core PrismHR software applications that power customer-facing businesses.
  • You will interface with all internal product teams to gather requirements and translate those into technical specifications.
  • This position can be remote/telecommute, and applications are accepted from candidates located in the Northeast, Midwest, and South.
  • Responsibilities include understanding various design methodologies, seeking development opportunities, recognizing system deficiencies, coding technical solutions, creating efficient solution designs, writing quality code, and supporting QA Engineers.
  • You will be involved in the design, development, integration, and deployment of web and mobile applications, continually improving the reliability and scalability of existing applications, and troubleshooting issues across all application tiers.

Requirements:

  • You must have experience with Scrum, Agile Process, Unit Testing, and Test-Driven Development.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in web-based software development is required.
  • You should have experience building modern web applications with ASP.NET MVC, C#, and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in Javascript, JQuery, HTML5/CSS, and solid Object Oriented design and development skills are necessary.
  • You must be able to work well within a group or individually on projects and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with VB.NET, C#, and Bootstrap 5.0 is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent degree is necessary.
