The position is for a Software Developer specializing in Video and Graphics, based in Poland, and is a remote, full-time role within the R&D department.
The software engineers at Evertz develop next-generation technologies that facilitate the creation of media entertainment for home and on-the-go consumption.
Evertz software plays a crucial role in producing and delivering popular sports, shows, and movies.

The role involves developing solutions for tailored customer applications, use-cases, and systems.
Responsibilities include researching, designing, and implementing software using standard development practices, identifying and implementing improvements in existing programs, writing efficient code, developing and implementing testing procedures, mentoring and collaborating with others, deploying software tools and processes, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of professional experience with C/C++.
Experience with concurrent programming in Linux environments is required.
Proficiency in Git, including Git-based workflows, CI, Confluence, and JIRA is necessary.
Scripting skills in sh, Bash, and Python are essential.
Familiarity with Make and GCC is required.
Knowledge of networking concepts such as sockets, TCP/UDP/RTP, and multicast/unicast is necessary.
Experience with multithreading and shared memory is required.
