Description:

  • As a Software Development Engineer I (Back-end) at Subsplash, you will be part of a team focused on payment-related applications supporting online giving and non-charitable payments.
  • You will collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and other Engineers to create systems that prioritize stability, uptime, and security for web services and financial software systems.
  • Your responsibilities will include participating in code reviews, documenting work, building robust micro-services, and delivering new features.
  • The role is fully remote, requiring self-discipline, effective communication via tools like Slack and Google Meet, and participation in an on-call rotation after approximately 6 months.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of full-time programming experience in a group/team environment or a degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in server-side web technologies such as Golang, Unix/Linux, PHP, NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
  • Experience in protecting against security risks described by OWASP and embracing Agile and feature-driven development processes.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, tasks, and bug fixes.
