The Software Development Engineer I (Client-Side / Mobile) role is an entry-level position reporting to a Software Development Manager.
The role involves building robust, scalable, and secure systems while collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers.
Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, documenting work, and contributing to team success through timely delivery of commitments.
The position requires working with various programming languages including Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin, and React Native.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership and a passion for delivering new features while continuously learning and improving.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of full-time programming experience in a team environment or a degree in a related field is required.
Experience with React and/or React Native is essential.
Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON, and cross-browser compatibility is necessary.
Candidates must have experience and mindfulness of security best practices with server-side and client-side languages.
Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum is required.
The ability to navigate ambiguous requirements while managing multiple projects and tasks is essential.
Candidates should contribute to testing and engineering best practices across the team.
A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience is required.
