Description:
As a Software Development Engineer II at LivePerson, you will be part of a core engineering team responsible for building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with existing LivePerson and contact center solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies and architectures, collaborate with Principal engineers and architects, and contribute to the design and execution of new solutions.
Responsibilities include learning LivePerson's Voice AI solution, integrating with contact center providers, developing new products, and working on complex system software.
You will be involved in developing Java-based backend services and, if full stack, working on UI development using Vue or Angular.
Requirements:
6+ years of software development experience.
Proficiency in Java programming language with at least 4 years of experience.
Experience in developing Microservices, RESTful API, backend systems, and successful production software systems for at least 3 years.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design, web protocols, and distributed systems architectures.
Knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithm Design, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, and databases like MySQL, Postgres, Firestore.
Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, automated testing strategies, large-scale deployments, cloud software services, and design for scalability, performance, and reliability.
Good to have experience with Unix, Docker, Kubernetes infrastructure, and building UI using web frameworks like Vue, Angular.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
