Remote Software Development Engineer II

Description:

• LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team in Bulgaria remotely.
• The company is a leader in enterprise conversations, providing a Conversational Cloud platform used by major brands like HSBC and Chipotle.
• The role involves shaping data science practices and building AI-based products, focusing on generative AI applications, LLM fine-tuning, and machine learning lifecycle management.
• Responsibilities include collaborating on the design and implementation of internal machine learning platforms and consumer-facing generative AI products.
• The engineer will design, build, and integrate systems for managing the full machine learning lifecycle and work closely with data scientists to optimize ML models and services.
• The position also requires building monitoring systems to ensure system health and preemptively address potential incidents.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of software development experience.
• An excellent working knowledge of Python 3 is required.
• Some model-building experience is preferred to assist the science team effectively.
• Prior experience with ML engineering or MLOps-related topics is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, mathematics, or an engineering discipline is required.
• Participation in on-call rotations as needed is mandatory.
