Description:

LivePerson is the global leader in enterprise conversations, providing a Conversational Cloud platform used by leading brands like HSBC, Chipotle, and Virgin Media.
The Software Development Engineer II will join a highly outstanding team within a fast-paced and successful organization.
Responsibilities include designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
The role involves designing REST-based backend services, debugging production issues, and maintaining existing code.
The candidate will develop technical specifications and documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and work with the Bots & Automation team to build the next-generation bot runtime platform.

Requirements:

A solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design is required.
Strong programming skills in Java and Spring Boot, with good knowledge of multi-threading, are essential.
Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) such as Cassandra and MySQL is necessary.
Experience with Data Processing tools like Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, and Hadoop is required.
The candidate must have experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications.
Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, and other development tools is needed.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs is required.
Familiarity with Kubernetes is necessary.
Experience with NodeJS and Python is a plus but not mandatory.
Experience with GCP and AWS is also a plus.
