Description:

The Software Development Engineer II at Mapbox in Minsk will work on services for review, validation, and editing of Mapbox’s global basemap content to ensure the delivery of accurate and continuously updated Live Maps worldwide.
The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing tools and services for data corrections and enrichments to enhance Maps and Navigation products.
They will solve complex workflow problems, implement solutions in frontend and backend services, and ensure operational excellence for the services.
Collaboration with internal teams to boost productivity and contribute to various data processing will be a key aspect of the role.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a full-stack engineer.
Proficiency in cloud services like Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and related technologies is required.
Strong experience in server-side development using Node.js, Nest.js, Express.js, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB.
Knowledge of frontend JavaScript and modern frameworks like React, Vue, and Angular is essential.
Understanding of modern engineering best practices and the ability to build robust software.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are necessary for global collaboration.
