Description:

  • As a Software Development Engineer II - Full Stack at LivePerson, you will be part of a core engineering team responsible for building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with existing LivePerson and contact center solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies and architectures, collaborate with Principal engineers and architects, and contribute to the design and execution of innovative solutions.
  • Responsibilities include learning LivePerson's Voice AI solution, developing Java-based backend services, and creating UI using Vue and Angular.
  • You will work on developing reliable, scalable, high-performance software solutions deployed in a public cloud environment, focusing on building good software and achieving operational goals.
  • The role involves working on complex system software, collaborating with Product Management to ideate new features, and advocating for automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Required skills include strong experience in Java, web frameworks like Vue or Angular, Microservices, RESTful API development, and knowledge of distributed systems architectures.
  • Additional experience with technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, databases such as MySQL and Postgres, and tools like Git and Jenkins is preferred.
  • The position also requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Java programming language
  • 3+ years of experience in building UI using web frameworks like Vue or Angular
  • 3+ years of experience in developing Microservices, RESTful API, and backend systems
  • Strong Object-Oriented design and implementation experience, knowledge of web protocols, and distributed systems architectures
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design
  • Experience with technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL, Postgres, Firestore, Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with large scale deployments, performance tuning, and cloud software services development
  • Good to have experience with Unix, Docker, and Kubernetes infrastructure on GCP/GKE
