Description:

HighLevel is seeking a Software Development Engineer II for their Expansion Products team, responsible for driving upgrades and upsells within the platform.
The role involves developing scalable backend services for memberships & courses, designing and managing APIs, and customizing web applications in Vue.js.
The engineer will collaborate with a team of developers, designers, and QA testers to write clean, tested, and manageable code for services affecting thousands of users daily.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining core product software and databases to ensure optimization and functionality.
HighLevel operates at scale, handling billions of API hits, message events, and views daily, requiring the engineer to build highly scalable and resilient systems.

Requirements:

Solid experience in Full stack engineering with Node.js and modern Javascript frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, Angular.
Proficiency in building scalable applications and understanding software flow.
Experience with relational/non-relational databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Firestore for backend services.
Ability to design and build web services, and integrate with third parties through APIs.
Proficient in code versioning tools like Git/SVN, GCP technologies, and Stripe integrations.
Experience in building media streaming applications.
