Description:
As a Software Development Engineer II at LivePerson, you will be part of a core engineering team responsible for building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with existing LivePerson and contact center solutions.
You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies and architectures, collaborate with Principal engineers and architects, and contribute to the design and execution of new solutions.
Responsibilities include learning LivePerson's Voice AI solution, integrating with contact center providers, developing new products, and working on complex system software.
You will develop Java-based backend services and, if full stack, work on UI development using Vue, Angular.
Requirements:
6+ years of software development experience.
4+ years of experience with Java programming language.
3+ years of experience in developing Microservices, RESTful APIs, backend systems, and production software systems.
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented design, web protocols, and distributed systems architectures.
Proficiency in Data Structures, Algorithm Design, and experience with technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis.
Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Firestore, and tools like Git, Jenkins.
Ability to advocate for automated testing strategies, ensure code quality, and work on large-scale deployments and performance tuning.
Experience in cloud software services development, scalability, performance, and reliability design.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
