Description:

LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer II (Machine Learning) to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with remote work options available.
The team is responsible for managing and streamlining all AI efforts at LivePerson, focusing on data science and AI-based product development.
Responsibilities include collaborating on the design and implementation of the internal machine learning platform and consumer-facing Generative AI development product.
The role involves designing, building, and integrating systems to manage the full machine learning lifecycle.
The engineer will work closely with data scientists to optimize the training and serving of ML models and services.
Building effective monitoring systems to track the health of systems and preemptively address incidents is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of software development experience.
An excellent working knowledge of Python 3 is required.
Some model-building experience is preferred to aid in understanding the problem space and assisting the science team.
Prior experience with ML engineering or MLOps-related topics is a plus.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, mathematics, or an engineering discipline is required.
Participation in on-call rotations as needed is mandatory.
