Remote Software Development Engineer II (Node.js)

Description:

• LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer II specializing in Node.js for their Conversational Cloud platform.
• The role involves working on the LivePerson Tenfold product, a SaaS offering hosted on GCP with a modern technology stack.
• Responsibilities include architecting, designing, and implementing business software and APIs, collaborating with Product Management for user experiences, and creating platform-independent code for multi-browser, multi-OS environments.
• The position requires active participation in architecture decisions, coding, testing, and deployment, as well as providing technical documentation for implemented solutions.
• The Software Developer will write unit and automated end-to-end tests, meet engineering team KPIs, and communicate with customers and partners to provide business and engineering value.
• Daily involvement in standups, sprint planning sessions, grooming sessions, and retrospectives is expected.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in TypeScript, Javascript, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficiency in building applications using MongoDB and data aggregation models for multiple sources.
• Experience in developing Enterprise class Multi-tenant SaaS applications and working with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Nock, and instrumenting code for production performance metrics.
• Agile development methodology experience and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preference for candidates with telephony, CRM, or CTI application integration experience and MEAN stack knowledge.
