  • The role of Software Development Engineer II involves a mix of backend (Node.js, Nest.js/Express.js) and frontend (Vue.js or similar frameworks) development.
  • Responsibilities include designing, optimizing, and scaling the platform, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers, and driving technical decisions that impact the entire system.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on scale.
  • Proficiency in Vue.js, Node.js, and Nest.js/Express.js is required.
  • A strong understanding of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, along with caching strategies like Redis, is necessary.
  • Experience in handling high-scale traffic, distributed systems, and concurrency challenges is essential.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
  • Candidates should have experience with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Google Pub/Sub for event-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks for both frontend and backend, such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress, is needed.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a remote environment is required.
  • Strong communication skills and a product-driven mindset to balance trade-offs efficiently are necessary.
