Remote Software Development Engineer III

Description:

• As a Software Development Engineer III at LivePerson, you will be a key member of the core engineering team responsible for building the LivePerson Voice offering and integrating it with existing LivePerson and contact center solutions.
• You will have the opportunity to work with new technologies and architectures, collaborate with Principal engineers and architects, and contribute to the design and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Responsibilities include learning and working with LivePerson's Voice AI solution, integrating with contact center providers, developing new product features, and creating reliable, scalable software solutions in a public cloud environment.
• The role involves developing Java-based backend services and working on complex system software with a customer-centric approach.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in building large-scale production software systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Java programming.
• 2+ years of experience integrating with third-party APIs.
• 3+ years of experience debugging/testing distributed microservice applications.
• 3+ years of experience with technologies like Kafka, Redis, and NoSQL.
• 3+ years of experience building RESTful microservices.
• Experience in Kubernetes and Cloud Computing Technologies like GCP and AWS is a plus.
• Experience building voice applications is a bonus.
