The role is for a Software Development Engineer III focused on Calendars, requiring strong technical and communication skills.
The engineer will work on backend and frontend engineering systems that process large amounts of data at scale and manage services handling thousands of requests every minute.
Responsibilities include creating new reporting features, building backend and frontend API features, working cross-functionally across various teams, driving performance through benchmarking and optimization, and collaborating closely with the leadership team.
The engineer will uphold high engineering standards and bring consistency to various codebases and systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with Vue.js is required.
Proficiency in various programming languages and frameworks, including Node.js, JavaScript, Python, and TypeScript, is necessary.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
Candidates should have experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, with a good understanding of Redis and Firebase/FireStore being a plus.
Experience integrating various third-party platforms, including Google AdWords, Facebook Marketing APIs, Twilio, and Google Analytics, is required.
A solid understanding of tools and techniques around caching, concurrency, and building highly available, reliable, and scalable systems is necessary.
Candidates must be able to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
A strong focus on product quality and the ability to balance trade-offs with time to launch new features is essential.
A keen eye for design and an interest in user flows and user experiences are important.
