The company has over 1000 employees across 15 countries, working remotely and in their headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
The role is for a Software Development Engineer III (Data Science) focused on deriving key insights from large datasets, building models, and taking them to production.
Responsibilities include analyzing data to gain insights, developing custom data models and algorithms, designing architecture with Data and DevOps engineers, taking ownership of model accuracy, managing releases, and maintaining high code quality through regular reviews.
Requirements:
Extensive hands-on experience in Python/R is a must.
A minimum of 3 years of AI engineering experience is required.
Proficiency in ML/DL frameworks and tools such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Lightning, and Huggingface is necessary.
Strong command of low-level operations for building architectures for Ensemble Models, NLP, and CV is essential.
Experience with end-to-end system design, data analysis, distributed training, model optimization, and evaluation systems for large-scale training and prediction is required.
Experience working with large datasets, ideally in TeraBytes, is a plus.
Familiarity with frameworks like Apache Spark (using MLlib or PySpark) and Dask is preferred.
Practical experience in API development using Flask or FastAPI is necessary.
Experience with MLOps principles and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, and ONNX is required.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field of study is necessary.
Strong people, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
