The Expansion Products team is responsible for driving volumetric and usage-based upgrades and upsells within the platform to maximize revenue potential.
The team focuses on building innovative products and features that solve real-world problems for agencies.
The Software Development Engineer III will be responsible for building, customizing, and optimizing WordPress-based solutions, including themes, plugins, and custom applications.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, integrating third-party services, optimizing website performance, ensuring security best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 4-5 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on WordPress development.
Proficiency in PHP is required, including experience with WordPress functions, hooks, and template hierarchy.
Strong front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Vue.js are necessary.
Experience with WordPress REST API and custom endpoint creation is essential.
A solid understanding of WordPress best practices, including theme and plugin development, security practices, and performance optimization techniques, is required.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for WordPress sites, such as caching and content delivery networks, is important.
Familiarity with modern development tools and workflows, such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp, is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues across the entire technology stack are essential.
