Description:
Quanata, LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to join their QA team and focus on backend testing, specifically with experience in AWS cloud native API testing.
Responsibilities include creating tests, testing large modules or components, designing features, developing scalable test automation frameworks and scripts, and designing integration, regression, and performance tests.
The role involves researching new automated testing tools, working independently, contributing to various teams, and leading software quality engineering discussions.
The position offers the option to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 6 years of experience in software testing roles such as Sr. QA Engineer, SDET, or Programmer Analyst.
4 years of experience in Backend/API testing, problem-solving, and providing end-to-end test coverage.
3 years of experience with tools like Test rail, Jira, Confluence, and Python programming, as well as Linux, SQL, Postgresql, and Shell scripting.
2 years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Github, and integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipeline.
1 year of experience with AWS.
