Description:
Softrams is looking for an Automation Test Engineer/SDET with experience in Selenium, Gauge, and Taiko to join a collaborative team working on modern, responsive web applications for health IT solutions.
The role involves emphasizing clean coding, continuous integration & testing, and automated deployments in scalable hosting environments.
Federal requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation and residency in the United States for the last 3 out of 5 years.
Responsibilities include developing automated test scripts, executing test scripts, documenting test issues, performing regression testing, and collaborating with developers to ensure functional objectives are met.
The position also involves creating and maintaining test data sets, providing guidance and training to the testing team, and staying updated on the latest testing tools and techniques.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum of 3 years of Automation testing experience using frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Gauge, Cypress, or TestNG.
Experience with automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices for web applications.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
Familiarity with writing database scripts for backend validation.
Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins or Codebuild.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with platforms like AWS or Azure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
