Remote Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Description:

• Softrams is looking for an Automation Test Engineer/SDET with experience in Selenium, Gauge, and Taiko to join a collaborative team working on modern, responsive web applications for health IT solutions.
• The role involves emphasizing clean coding, continuous integration & testing, and automated deployments in scalable hosting environments.
• Federal requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation and residency in the United States for the last 3 out of 5 years.
• Responsibilities include developing automated test scripts, executing test scripts, documenting test issues, performing regression testing, and collaborating with developers to ensure functional objectives are met.
• The position also involves creating and maintaining test data sets, providing guidance and training to the testing team, and staying updated on the latest testing tools and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Automation testing experience using frameworks like Selenium, Cucumber, Gauge, Cypress, or TestNG.
• Experience with automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices for web applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Familiarity with writing database scripts for backend validation.
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins or Codebuild.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and experience with platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
