Remote Software Development Test Engineer II

Description:

• The Software Development Test Engineer II position at Renaissance involves working with the engineering team to deliver timely, accurate, and actionable data to empower school systems globally.
• Responsibilities include modifying and improving test strategies, scenarios, and test cases, building new automated test scenarios, conducting compatibility tests, performing root-cause analysis, and collaborating with multiple development teams.
• The role requires applying technical skills, user empathy, and solid communication skills to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer / SDET.
• Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C#, Python, and Java.
• Experience with the software development process.
• Strong communication skills and a curious demeanor advocating for customers.
• Bonus points for a BS in a Computer Engineering related field, experience with source control systems like Git, Perforce, TFS, working in Lean/Scrum/Agile environments, and familiarity with .NET Selenium, NUnit, Postman, Jenkins.
