As a pivotal member of the engineering team, you will work closely with the CEO and CTO to bring products from 0 to 1.
You will have the autonomy to steer key architectural decisions and institute engineering best practices.
The role involves diving into exciting greenfield initiatives, including crafting intuitive UIs for customer-facing products and internal tools, developing scalable backend systems, and creating state-of-the-art machine learning models.
You will shape the company values and define the engineering culture.

Requirements:

You must take full responsibility for project deliverables, demonstrate initiative, and proactively solve challenges.
A minimum of 4 years of intense experience with backend software development is required, including web application development and demonstrated mastery in at least one language or framework.
You should have experience creating and maintaining CRUD API endpoints and working with relational databases, as well as familiarity with Docker, Azure, or GCP.
The ability to navigate engineering tradeoffs effectively, balancing speed with quality, is essential.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience in a software development role, is required.

The position offers flexibility with fully remote work within the US.
Competitive compensation ranges from $100,000 to $175,000, along with a generous equity package of 0.25% to 1%.
