Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• The Software Engineer position at Motive involves building new financial products for customers by developing APIs/services that integrate with payment platforms for processing transactions.
• Responsibilities include building integration with payment platforms, processing transactions with high reliability, generating invoices, and processing payments from customers.
• The role also includes building and scaling data models, making scalable design choices for API interfaces, learning billing/payment related third party integrations, improving the cost of running a service in production, and building appropriate monitoring and logging for system health.
• The Software Engineer will work on AWS cloud infrastructure, communicate effectively across teams, and mentor and learn from other developers within the organization.

Requirements:

• A Btech or M.S. in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Candidates should have 2-4 years of software development experience.
• Experience in building product infrastructure, distributed systems, and data models is necessary.
• Proficiency in languages like Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, Javascript/Node.js, or similar is required.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra is essential.
• Experience working with Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, GCP, Azure, or private clouds is a must.
