CertifID is seeking a skilled and motivated early-career Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience delivering high-impact code in collaborative team environments.
The role involves working across the entire technical stack, taking ownership of projects from start to finish, and tackling increasingly complex challenges.
Responsibilities include fostering a culture of psychological safety, productivity, and continuous improvement, and deeply learning the business to collaborate effectively across the company.
The engineer will design, develop, debug, and maintain scalable, high-quality software applications using technologies such as C#, Vue, Typescript, and MongoDB.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers is essential to plan, estimate, and deliver effective solutions on time.
The role includes leading and contributing to code reviews, troubleshooting and debugging issues in both frontend and backend components, and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies.
The engineer will engage with and suggest improvements for the engineering department, enhancing the code, tooling, and developer experience.
Requirements:
Candidates should have 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience, including individual and joint ownership of delivered projects.
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as C#, Java, C++, or Python is required.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and frameworks such as React, Vue, TypeScript, and SASS is necessary.
Experience with common software engineering methodologies, including version control systems, unit testing, and CI/CD, is expected.
Comfort working within agile development methodologies and practices is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to deliver solutions to increasingly complex challenges are required.
Well-practiced troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to conduct root cause analysis and craft long-term technical solutions, are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with cross-functional partners such as designers, product managers, and QA.
Proven ability to take ownership of projects, balance priorities, and manage timelines effectively is essential.
