Description:
SugarCRM is seeking a curious and highly motivated Software Engineer to contribute to the development of the next generation of software products and tools.
The role involves working as a full-stack engineer in a Scrum Team, utilizing modern technologies to develop front end and back end components for various products.
Emphasis is placed on creating reliable, maintainable, and scalable solutions for high volume, high availability environments.
The successful candidate must be independent, quick learner, and willing to work with new technologies.
Strong project organization, communication skills, collaboration, and ability to work in cross-functional teams are essential.
Engineers of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, with preference given to those willing to act as Lead Engineer.
Requirements:
2 - 5 years of experience in enterprise software development and/or distributed SaaS systems.
Practical Object Oriented Programming experience, software programming for the web, and familiarity with emerging languages and technologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript with modern front-end frameworks like React.
Knowledge of creating and consuming RESTful APIs, advanced SQL and NoSQL data stores, and Agile software development methodologies.
Excellent communication skills and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
