Description:
- Research, develop, and deliver cutting-edge code for near-real-time large volume data systems
- Collaborate with Operations and Development teams to architect and deploy high-impact security solutions
- Provide technical leadership, evangelize Dev-Ops culture, and demonstrate best practices
- Design, code, and maintain web-scale data systems
- Discover, analyze, and validate new data sets to add value for customers
- Improve engineering productivity, reduce operational toil, and increase consistency
- Mentor junior engineers and assist in onboarding
- Work on a developer-centric platform for continuous integration and deployment of security applications
- Build and maintain tools to facilitate job tasks
- Ensure a safe, secure, and open Internet for all users
Requirements:
- Professional development experience using Python, GoLang, or equivalent: 3+ years
- Cloud infrastructure experience in AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes: 1+ years
- Web-scale data engineering experience using data stores like OpenSearch, Postgres, CockroachDB, MySQL, Hive, Spark: 1+ years
- Linux/Unix experience: 3+ years
- Positive attitude, high initiative, and history of good productivity
- Attention to detail and high-quality results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coordinate between teams
- Excitement about the security space
