Description:

Natera is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, and maintain a web portal application for providers in the Japanese oncology space.
The role involves improving user experience and functionality to positively impact patient outcomes.
The Software Engineer III will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of microservices for a Japan-specific provider-facing web portal.
The position requires working with a mix of modern and legacy technologies in a rapidly changing environment.
Key responsibilities include participating in design and technical implementation decisions, working closely with Product Managers, designing and maintaining highly available systems, and supporting QA activities.

Requirements:

Candidates must be fluent in Japanese with native-level proficiency, both written and spoken.
A minimum of 5 years of overall software development experience is required, preferably in secure, scalable web applications using NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and other web technologies.
Experience with front-end development is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with software development lifecycle processes, including building, software configuration, releases, and deployment activities.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Test-Driven Development and/or Domain-Driven Development is required, along with experience in service-oriented and microservice architecture.
Experience in building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and expanding software within the AWS ecosystem is essential.
Candidates should have experience with GraphQL and REST API design and event-driven architecture using distributed event stores.
Strong relational database skills, including database design and optimization, are required.
Demonstrated teamwork skills and a solid analytical background are necessary.
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are essential.
