Description:

The role involves working with engineering teams to triage and remediate issues in software products and developing enhancements.
In the first 3 months, success includes gaining a working understanding of the software products, acquiring troubleshooting techniques, establishing relationships with stakeholders, and participating in Scrum rituals.
In 6 months, the engineer will formalize documentation of common issues, improve observability of software products, educate the production support team on triage techniques, participate in code reviews, and provide coverage for team members.
By 12 months, the engineer should acquire expertise in two or more software products, mentor new team members, identify high priority items, and be knowledgeable about workarounds.
Daily responsibilities include attending team meetings, investigating issues, communicating with other teams, maintaining documentation, working with customer data securely, implementing fixes, and creating test cases.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates must have an understanding of software systems and cloud computing.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary.
The ability to deliver high-quality work that has been thoroughly tested is essential.
Required skills include SQL, Rails, JavaScript, Angular, AWS, and New Relic.
Familiarity with EHR or Claims Data, curiosity, tenacity, and a problem-solving drive are preferred.
