Remote Software Engineer

Description:

• Vasion is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team dedicated to making digital transformation accessible through an affordable, integrated SaaS solution.
• The role involves collaborating with product owners, senior engineers, designers, and QA to deliver cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced setting.
• Responsibilities include constructing solutions based on customer requirements, contributing to designing innovative solutions, creating functional and technical specifications, and implementing features and components.
• The Software Engineer will adhere to coding best practices, participate in an agile team, communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and follow established standards throughout the software development life cycle.
• Additionally, the role entails mentoring junior colleagues, providing technical training presentations, and embracing leadership opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Vue, Golang, Docker, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node.js, AWS/DevOps, and Microservices.
• Experience in Web User Interface Design, Relational Database Development, Windows application development, Git, and Github Actions or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of technologies like Printer/printing related development, CUPS, Python, C, C++ is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, time management skills, and attention to detail are required.
• Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Domain-Driven Design, development principles, problem-solving skills, and working well with others.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• A track record of 2+ years of related development experience.
